What is Light it Blue and WORD Day?

For World yOung Rheumatic Disease Day (WORD Day), Take a Pain Check Foundation is bringing back Light it Blue!
 Between March 15th to March 23rd, we are lighting up landmarks across the globe Blue for World yOung Rheumatic Disease Day (WORD Day). Over 50 landmarks will light up blue this month to raise awareness and demonstrate solidarity for young people affected by rheumatic diseases. 


We encourage you to: 
  • Dress up in blue, gather your crew, and make your way to the nearest landmark!


  • Take photos to showcase you and your crew being a part of this worldwide celebration!


  • Post your photos on social media, tag us, and using any of the hashtags
    #LightingitBlueforWorldYoungRheumaticDiseaseDay #lightitblue#takeapaincheck #tapclightitblue #lightitblue4wordday.
